Energy from waste
Fossil fuels are not endless in supply. Fact, waste disposal is a global environmental problem. Fact, energy from waste, as an alternative to fossil fuels provides an important contribution towards the reduction in landfill disposal and global warming.
Energy recovery from waste provides a double environmental benefit - firstly, the diversion of waste from landfill and, secondly, the recovery of energy, displacing fossil fuel alternatives and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
Energy from Waste offers also a pyrolysis technology, which has the ability to produce a clean, high calorific value fuel gas from a wide variety of waste and biomass streams. The pyrolysis technology is in an earlier technological stage and will broaden the application of the energy from waste division.
